I’ve just watched The Fog by John Carpenter with Leftwing Idiot. I don’t cope well with horrors of any sort because suspense and excitement tend to make my tics over react.

Despite the fact that he had me pretty comprehensively pinned down, Leftwing Idiot still stopped the film fifteen minutes in and said, “Seriously, are you going to be able to cope with this?” I said yes, but he seemed unconvinced. “Are you sure, bearing in mind there’s going to be a lot more scary bits before the end?” I managed to persuade him that we could both make it through unharmed.

I like to think I added a dimension of unpredictability to the plot. I suspect Leftwing Idiot might have a different perspective.
