Total Theatre
This morning I had an email to say we’d been nominated for a Total Theatre Award in the ‘emergent company’ category. This is really exciting, and just being nominated feels like a big achievement. I feel really proud of what we’ve achieved – putting the show together, with the help of lots of people, has been a great experience.
Backstage in Biscuit Land (BIBL) is the first show I’ve ever been involved in creating, and I’ve had very little experience of performing up until now, so it’s very encouraging that we’ve been picked out by very experienced theatre critics from the many shows they’ll have seen.
The winners will be announced next week, but whatever the outcome, as we near the end of our run in Edinburgh, I’m hopeful that BIBL will have a life beyond the Fringe.
Michael B says:
I sincerely hope so too! I’m bringing my parents and a Twitter acquaintance with me on the 18th, I look forward to seeing BIBL again!
Congratulations on the nomination! I hope you win this and many other accolades!
