It’s meetings day at work. Every Thursday I meet with the social work team in the morning and then in the afternoon my team has its own meeting. My colleagues have never seemed bothered or put off their stride by my tics. In fact a few people have said they relieve the boring bits. We had three new staff with us for the first time and one of my colleagues showed them how to deal with my tics by ploughing on with what he was saying. He managed to ignore the fact that I was giving him the finger. I don’t think they, or anyone else, noticed him give it back to me later on.
