I met up with Fertile Man (the designer responsible for the Touretteshero logo) this evening, as he was in town for work. We talked about the logo for a while and then spent considerably longer getting drunk in a park. Tonight’s tic contribution is:

“Gale force wank.”

I applied for help from Access to Work last week and spoke to an advisor today. He was very friendly and understood immediately why I needed help, particularly with travel to and from work. I also spoke to him about some of the other things that I’m finding difficult, and he told me Access to Work would consider funding a support worker to help me. This would be useful, especially in situations like today when, at an event, I’d had to leave the room because my tics were getting too loud. A support worker would be able to take notes for me, so if I needed to leave I wouldn’t miss anything.
