I watched the sun go down from the roof of a car park in Peckham this evening. Frank’s Bar is a temporary venue on the top of a multi-storey car park next to the cinema. The view from there is amazing. You can see the whole city laid out in front of you. The whole place was heaving when I headed to the bar to get some drinks. I realised that I wouldn’t get served without my tics injuring other customers. Rather than head back to my friends empty handed, I explained the problem to one of the staff at the side of the bar. She was really friendly and took my order straight away. It made me realise that most of the time, if I want some extra help, I just need to ask.
