I started working on a tic-related artwork late last night. The piece, called ‘Lego is 4 Life, Not Just 4 Christmas’ is made entirely out of Lego. It was delicate and fiddly but I was totally absorbed and didn’t go to bed until 6.30am.

When I got up a couple of hours later, the first thing I did was try and take my new creation downstairs. But I ticced and it crashed to the floor.

For a couple of moments I just thought, ‘Why do I bother?’ but I pulled myself together and started repairing the damage. It took me hours to fix, but it ended up looking better than it did in the first place.
