For the last couple of weeks my phone’s been playing up, I met Leftwing Idiot in town earlier and together we went to the Apple store to get it sorted out. Ruth had to do the same thing a couple of weeks ago and had a long, unpleasant wait. I had to wait for ages too but it was easier for me as I had Leftwing Idiot to talk to and help me out.

The member of staff who served me was helpful and understanding about my tics. He replaced my phone, and I’m really relieved it’s sorted out. I expect they were relieved too when I left, because I imagine my tics weren’t helping sales:

“Mac’s are shit.”

“Don’t buy a Mac, buy a pillow.”
