This new tic is causing some alarm. Though I don’t need any, I keep shouting, “Help” in a high-pitched voice. Fortunately my friends and family are fairly good at telling the difference between the tic and a real emergency.
But it does make Leftwing Idiot a bit nervous when we’re out and about, especially when he’s holding on to me, helping me walk.
Disconcertingly though, most strangers don’t seem to bat an eyelid.
