It’s the day before December 1st and the countdown to Christmas is about to begin. Poppy loves Christmas and as her moving-in present (she’s coming to live with me in the Castle) I’ve made her an advent calendar using matchboxes. Because of my arm tics it took a huge amount of concentration, but I persevered and I was very pleased with myself when it was finished. In each matchbox draw there’s a surprise treat and a hand written tic.

I’ve been randomly ticcing about Christmas ever since July last year and, like last year, I’ve built up a big collection of festive tics. I’m going to post one a day on Facebook and Twitter so that everyone can enjoy this spontaneous advent calendar.
