Is it too early to start talking about Christmas? As ever, the advertising people want us to think about it earlier and earlier. I saw my first Christmas advert back in October

Tourettes means I don’t really have a choice – I’ve been talking about the festive season at inappropriate times for years.

More recently I’ve been talking about ‘Santa’ a lot. Younger readers may be sad to learn that he ‘Died singing a song about a ladybird called Esther.’

But whether or not that turns out to be true, this is supposed to be a post full of (arguably pre-emptive) festive cheer, because our new Christmas card has just arrived!

This masterpiece was created by long-time Touretteshero contributor Laurie Pink and I love it! After a very biscuity year, the tic Laurie chose to illustrate is absolutely perfect. You can check out more of her beautiful work here.

The card will be on sale in our shop very soon, but if you’re super-organised and absolutely can’t wait to get some, send me an email and I’ll see what I can do. All the money raised will go straight back into helping Touretteshero develop and grow as an organisation.
