I arrived home from work earlier to find a surprise gift on my kitchen table. It was a packet of hot chocolate with a note to say it was from Poppy and Zoë. I was touched but a bit puzzled as to why they’d suddenly decided drinking chocolate was the ‘must have’ gift for me. I looked at the sachet more carefully and eventually noticed the unusual cartoon on the front.

There’s no explanation for why this cartoon about the improper use of a disabled parking bay should be on a packet of hot chocolate, and that makes it even more amusing and intriguing. I’m often put out when I come home from work to find vans and cars parked in the bay outside my house, so this message is one I’m happy to endorse.
