The One Week Itch
I looked at my calendar earlier and realised we’ve only got one week until our first scratch performance of Backstage In Biscuit Land! My heart skipped a beat, but I calmed myself down by remembering it’s just a scratch. However, it’s going to be my first one ever, so I really don’t know what to expect.
Things are hurtling along at top speed at the moment and I’m trying my best to keep on top of everything that needs doing – we’ve got props to make, costumes to try out, and a million bits of admin as well.
Last night’s continuity announcements seemed to go down well – it certainly got people talking on Twitter – just look at #biscuit to see all the confusion it caused. I love the way people used social media to find out what was going on, and learn a bit about Tourettes in the process.
If you’re new to the site, welcome. Please have a good look round. We’re adding content all the time and I’m always on the lookout for new art for the tic-inspired gallery.
And if you’re in London next week and fancy coming to Battersea Arts Centre to see the first ever (potentially very) rough performance of Backstage in Biscuit Land, you can book your ticket here.

I’m sure it’ll go great! I’m currently trying to find someone to go to your Scratch performances with, I’ll go to as many performances as I can!
