This afternoon we put on the first performance of Backstage In Biscuit Land (#BIBL) for an Edinburgh audience. After so much planning and preparation, it felt brilliant to be under way at last.

This piece, with its origin in some of the difficult experiences I’ve had seeing shows because of my tics, has been a long time in the making. So it was great that this first show went incredibly well. The audience were wonderful, and they laughed a lot which is very encouraging.

When it was over I felt elated and exhausted and I can’t wait to do it again tomorrow.

A great many people have helped us on our journey to Edinburgh and I feel incredibly privileged to be here and to be so well supported.
