Usually I leave my all terrain wheelchair at work and get in and out of it at the start and end of each day. This evening though Zoë and I carefully packed it into the cab and brought it home. This is because tomorrow I’m heading to Cumbria with Will to spend the weekend with his mum.

I can’t wait to put my chair’s off-road ability to the test again. It’s been a long time since my amazing walks on Skye at the beginning of the year. I’m really looking forward to doing some active, outdoorsy stuff, as well as having a chance to properly relax and hang out with Will.

I’ll update you on how we get on in a couple of days. For now I’m off to pack. Fingers crossed we’ll take the sunshine and blue skies with us too.
