A while ago I wrote about going to Acton to do some recording with Alex Newman. We had a conversation that was led by my tics. This resulted in some strange and unpredictable stories. Leftwing Idiot has edited this audio and today I uploaded it to SoundCloud. I was nervous about how people would respond because it’s quite surreal, and could cause offence. It’s definitely funny though.

Live Talk with Touretteshero

The response so far has been positive from people with and without Tourettes. Some people who haven’t got Tourettes have said they felt unsure or guilty about laughing. I’ve reassured them that laughing is the point and that I want them to enjoy the strangeness of my tics.
