Every year we ask an illustrator whose work we love, to create an image for our Christmas card. If they’re up for it we send them a shortlist of festive tics and let them choose the one they like best. After that, it’s over to them and we use whatever fantastic artwork they create.

This year we asked our friend Amber Anderson if she’d take on the challenge and to our delight she said she would. Amber’s worked with us on a number of projects, Live Scribing events and performances so we have a beautiful visual record of what’s gone on.

She was with us when we worked on the incredible Idea Amplifier with young creatives with Tourettes at the Camden Roundhouse.

And during our run of Backstage in Biscuit Land at Battersea Arts Centre she gave us our first ever Live Scribed performance.

So, it’s with great pleasure that I can now reveal the fantastic new Touretteshero Christmas card for this year, courtesy of Amber’s incredibly talented hands.

We love its intricate detail and hope you do too. It makes me laugh every time I look at it. Thanks so much to Amber for her amazing work, and thanks too to my tics for their strange and unpredictable inspiration.
