This afternoon I went back to see the orthotist who’s been providing me with supports to help stabilise my leg tics and improve my mobility. He fitted me with a new pair of ankle supports, which are more effective and more comfortable than my previous pair. I also got a pair of reinforced boots. They’re not going to win any prizes for elegance but when I’m wearing them along with the supports, my ankle can’t roll over at all.
