Poppy, Leftwing Idiot and I were watching TV this evening and I’d been saying ‘Fuck’ loudly about every 15 seconds right from the start. At the end of the first programme Poppy said, ‘Have you been doing that all the way through?’ I said I had – I’d been very aware of it.
She laughed and said ‘I noticed it as the programme started and as soon as it ended, but not in between. Isn’t it strange how naturally you block it out?’
