Leftwing Idiot and I were out in our area. I was emitting my normal, frequent vocal tics. As we walked past a police officer on a bike, she turned towards us, pointed at me and told me to “Stop that.” I was surprised by how angry I felt so I turned back to explain. This isn’t the first time I’ve been challenged by the police and they’re often ungracious, even after I’ve explained that I have Tourettes. On another occasion a police officer said: “You can’t behave like that”. If only it were that easy.
