Several months ago, when winter still felt a long way away, Leftwing Idiot and I took a trip into town to meet Billy Elliott – not the famous dancer but the incredibly talented animator.

Our mission was to see if Bill would be up for creating a video to go with the LiveTalk Christmas special I’d just recorded. We’d heard about Bill’s work through another animator friend of ours who’d recommended us to him. Fortunately for us he was up for the challenge.

We didn’t have a fixed idea of what we wanted or how we wanted it to look so we left it all to Bill and let him get on with it. He sent us a tiny sample a few weeks ago which was very exciting but we’ve only just got the complete version, and it’s amazing!

I’m so pleased with the result that I’d like to let as many people know about it as possible. Bill worked very hard on this for us, and it really shows. Please help share my festive message with all your friends. Let’s make this video as big as Gangnam Style just in time for Christmas!
