I’ve just returned to the lair after an amazing photo shoot. The photographer, Sam, was great. I felt surprisingly comfortable being photographed by him and I can’t wait to see the results. Posing with Tourettes is unpredictable and my plans for how I’ll look or move are often sabotaged by my tics. I suspect this might make for some interesting pictures.

Like when I recorded some of my vocal tics with Jamie, I really enjoyed giving myself permission to tic. Having instant feedback on them from Sam was an unusual experience and made me more aware of each movement I was making.
I’m pretty sure Sam captured me in flight, an essential superhero power.
